Work Schedule/Work Hours: Full-time; Monday - Friday 2: 00pm - 10: 00pm - 2nd shift

OBJECTIVE
You will perform specific assigned janitorial duties on-site at the assigned location while working to ensure Goodwill standards are met or exceeded.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred;

Must conduct self in a professional manner conducive to a product work environment; demonstrate good judgment, responsibility and initiative, should possess effective interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively to supervisor and subordinates, work cooperatively, to organize work and make good decisions. Maintain a professional appearance appropriate for the work setting. Must be able to work with people with disabilities and disadvantaged conditions.

• To be a high-energy, positive thinker
• One year previous custodial experience preferred.
• A candidate for Janitorial crew may be disqualified if they have a criminal record for illegal drug use or sale, financial fraud, identity theft, physical abuse, crimes involving violence and/or theft.

Your specific activities will include:

• Work with a team
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces
• Clean and disinfect
• Vacuuming/Shampoo clean carpets
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
• Mix various cleaning agents
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff
• Stripping and top scrubbing floors
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
• May move heavy items such as furniture
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours
• Help provide a safe working environment for you, customers and fellow employees

Background Requirements:

1. The Contractor shall have a comprehensive background check performed for its employees and/or it’s subcontractor’s employees performing housekeeping services at ACC-SCC facility, prior to placing the employee at the campus.
2. The Contractor shall obtain a comprehensive background verification report on information contained in the past seven (7) years that includes, but not limited to the following:

4. Felony and Misdemeanor Charges (Federal, State and Local)
5. CP National Criminal File PLUS
6. Statewide Criminal
7. Contractor attests and affirms by responding to this solicitation that all Contractor’s employees assigned to projects for and within ACC-SCC property have completed background checks, those backgrounds checks have been verified and reviewed by the Contractor as acceptable for work and within ACC-SCC property, and Contractor further accepts all liability for actions of Contractor employees.
