FIRST RF Corporation is hiring a Electronics Production Technician in Boulder, CO. This is a full-time position.

FIRST RF is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Production Technician to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electronic components and systems to support the production of world class RF systems and antennas. Key Responsibilities Work from work instructions, engineering drawings, test procedures, travelers, and parts lists to gather required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materialsPosition, align, and secure parts using templates, fixtures, and assembly toolsOperate RF test equipment and other measurement equipment to support production testing activitiesAssemble electronic and mechanical components through soldering, fastening, and inspection process in accordance with specifications and quality standardsComplete production travelers and rework documentation accurately and on timeMaintain accurate production records, work instructions, and build documents using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and OutlookFollow established procedures, quality requirements, and company policies to maintain a safe, organizing, and clean work environmentAnticipate material requirements and coordinate with Inventory to request additional build kits, components, and supplies as neededSupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team success by assisting with related production activities and special projectsCollaborate effectively with team members, engineering, quality, and inventory personnel to meet production schedules and objectives Qualifications Required Education and Experience Must have U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security ClearanceAssociates degree in Electronics, or Electronics Certification with a minimum of 2 years of related work experienceWorking knowledge of RF equipment and electronic test systemsExperience using common hand and torque toolsExperience with hot-air guns, rework/reflow station, and hand soldering techniquesPossess a strong focus on safety compliance, quality, and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Good judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to learn new processes, procedures, and successfully complete required trainingStrong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Education and Experience Experience in electronics manufacturing, production, assembly, or testing environmentsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawing, schematics, assembly instructions, and technical documentationCurrent or previous J-STD-001 Solder CertificationKnowledge of and experience following Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday-Thursday, 6: 30-5: 00pm; however, these hours may vary based on workload and the managers discretion. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The employee will also regularly be seated at a desk and using a computer.
