Job Description
EVRAZ is hiring a Production Worker/Operator (Night Shift) in Denver, CO. This is a full-time position.

Job Description & Responsibilities
Picks copper and fluff off moving conveyor, assists shredder mechanics in changing out conveyors, and bearing shafts and greasing.
Keeps the work area clean and ready for daily operations
Ensures conveyor bearings are clean and properly greased
Pick and sort quality material
Reports any issues immediately as they arise
Assists shredder mechanics during projects
Assists in meeting monthly production goals
Performs other duties as assigned
Performs lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before working on any plant equipment
Cross-trains in other departments to provide coverage during short staffing
Requirements
Completion of High School Diploma, GED, or must pass company comprehensive assessment
Ability to push, pull, and lift materials up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for up to 12 hours, with regular walking, squatting, climbing, bending, and twisting
Willing and able to work in variable weather conditions, including hot, dry summer conditions and cold, harsh winter conditions
Ability to learn and follow direction
Self-Motivated: Takes initiative and acts proactively without being prompted
Strong Work Ethic: Uses time efficiently, works safely, and ensures those around them are working safely
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
Recycling or mining experience is considered an asset
Being mechanically inclined is considered an asset
Occasional additional hours, including weekends, may be required depending on operational needs
