If you are an operations professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! We're looking to add a Regional Service Center Operations Manager for our North America MSS organization based at our Boulder, CO Service Center. You will advise, manage and deploy service center offerings with the Measurement Solutions products and solutions portfolio. Services offered include off the shelf inventory, product repair/replace, and educational services; all of which will be delivered with Emerson’s outstanding quality and safety processes. This role will be responsible for the local site and additional satellite locations.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Own the full P& L process for your assigned service centers, driving revenue growth, cost management, and overall financial performance to ensure profitability and long-term business success. This involves developing and completing strategic plans, managing budgets and forecasts, optimizing operational efficiency, and making data-driven decisions to achieve financial targets
  • Champion Emerson's Environmental, Health, and Safety philosophy to ensure a safe working environment for your team, while being responsible for the maintenance and protection of company assets at service center locations.
  • Work closely with local Emerson sales offices and end-customers in developing and assembling business opportunities related to service center capabilities. Support contract negotiations, manage prices, track sales, ensure customer happiness, present to customers, and build reports.
  • Manage and develop a team of service center personnel, including setting goals and objectives for the team, handling daily schedules and work assignments, and providing clear communication on matters such as business conditions, goals, trends, and employee recognition.
  • Support sales and revenue forecasting plans that align with the overall North America MSS business and financial plan and ensure its effective implementation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of service practices and processes, including but not limited to, Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS), manufacturing procedures, and Appropriation Request (A/Rs).
  • Lead all operational aspects of the repair center including cross-coordination between service centers, and management and oversight of physical inventory to achieve financial targets such as sales and inventory turns.
  • Drive quality and continuous improvement in execution of service center offerings.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years of related experience
  • Travel up to 25% between service center locations
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • running a manufacturing and/or service operations
    • leading, developing and managing technical and nontechnical staff
    • providing customer support and/or engaging with customers
    • managing Capital investments, Contracts, knowledge of T& Cs
    • Service center and/or industrial manufacturing experience, including inventory management, preferred

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $104, 500 - $119, 500 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
