If you are an Electrical Engineer looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opportunity for you! We are looking to add an Electrical Engineer - Ultrasonic Meters to our Boulder, CO team. You will provide engineering mentorship and support to leaders and employees in the Ultrasonic Meters (USM) organization, passionate about current product sustaining – develop component and design-level expertise, provide manufacturing support to other sections of the business (leadership, supply chain, manufacturing operations, marketing, customer support, etc.).

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Evaluate, prioritize, and execute Engineering Change Orders.
  • Develop an understanding of product, PCBA, and component-level specifications in support of manufacturing and other business groups.
  • Manage the Bill of Materials for USM products including the design critical specifications, qualify and approve changes or second sources of supply, and structure product assemblies according to Emerson best practices.
  • Determine the nature and scope of assigned projects, as well as budget and schedule parameters, and delegate assignments appropriately.
  • Research, compare, and evaluate datasheets for replacement components.
  • Drive product and design improvements with a focus on safety, quality, and manufacturability.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills
  • Ability to work optimally with various levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and on a team
  • Self-sufficient, resourceful, problem-solving skills
  • Communicate effectively – verbal & written
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Electronics

The salary range for this role is $76, 295 - $102, 000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
