We are searching for the best talent for Sr NPI Manager LCM to be in Juarez City.
Purpose:
Main Responsibilities:
The Senior NPI Manager will be instrumental in the technical transfer and launch of new products, as well as implementing technical improvements to the manufacturing line in Juarez. This role involves managing other managers and team members, installation of new lines, validation of new manufacturing lines, supporting verification and validation of new products, capital and expense estimation and management, supporting ramp-up, stabilization, and yield improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will also be tasked with setting up and managing pilot and production lines, performing equipment validations, troubleshooting issues, and executing modifications to enhance manufacturing quality and product performance. Additionally, responsibilities will include identifying and executing projects aimed at improving value and reducing costs, supporting CAPAs, NRs, and new management reviews, compliance deliverables, as well as effectively managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead the technical transfer and launch of new products from development to manufacturing.
- Implement and manage technical improvements to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Support the ramp-up and stabilization of production lines to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Evaluate and develop prototypes, establishing pilot and production lines as needed.
- Perform equipment validations and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Implement changes to enhance manufacturing quality and product performance.
- Identify and execute value improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure project success.
- Acts as the primary technical point of contact; works with cross functional stakeholders to transfer and scale manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Supports development and execution of transfer activities from R& D & Operations to manufacturing.
- Works with cross functional team to generate capacity/capability models and make vs. buy assessments used as an input to site planning.
- Responsible for preparation and execution of validation protocols and completion of validation reports.
- Supports development and maintenance of process risk documentation (e.g., PFMEA) to identify potential risks and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Prepares engineering change orders and coordinates the implementation of changes including training production staff.
- Provides expertise in project planning and timeline development & management and maintain project schedules and timelines.
- Implements and manage process improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Ensures capacity is appropriate for the manufacturing plan.
- Effectively utilizes lean manufacturing tools for continuously improving the flow of material and information in the factory including factory layouts, visual management, 6S, JIT, Kanban.
- Implement robust cost-effective manufacturing processes and improve product flow and product quality and safety performance for both sustained and new products.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams during development phase(s) and provides inputs and recommendations for design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Develops, tests, and implements tools, fixtures and equipment required for manufacturing processes.
- Develops manufacturing process instructions, inspection plans and lot history travelers
- Performs analysis for cost reduction, and quality and efficiency improvement.
- Supports design transfer of new products to production including establishing assembly time and yield targets, training needs and quality control.
- Leads product failure investigations required to determine root cause, improve product reliability, performance improvement as well as effective containment and counter measures.
- Challenges the status quo, promotes innovative approaches and concepts, and embeds a business focus in the team's activities.
- Maintains proper governance and escalation management within projects to facilitate timely decisions that meet commitments for time, quality, and cost.
- Ensures that supply chain resource requirements for new product introduction projects are clearly communicated to development partners and effectively managed to achieve milestone targets and deliverables on those projects.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required; a specialized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline is preferred. A Master’s or other advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience is required. Catheter design experience in electrophysiology is highly preferred.
- In depth technical understanding of engineering principles, design control, risk management, GD& T, Solid Works, design for manufacturing, and statistical methods.
- Extensive experience in Supply Chain functions (e.g., Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain Management, Technical Service Support, New Product Introduction, LCM) within a pertinent industry is required.
- Ability to apply statistical methods for process improvement, and validation of experimental results in the development of medical products.
- Experience in Product and Process Development is required.
- In-depth knowledge of financial processes, including business case development, Profit and Loss (P& L) calculation, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), is preferred.
- Broad technical knowledge of manufacturing techniques applicable to the product platform is required.
- This role will be based in Juarez, Mexico and may require up to 10% travel
