We are searching for the best talent for SENIOR NEW PRODUCT INTEGRATION ENGINEER (FIXED TERM 12 MONTHS)
Purpose:
To assist in the development of new products and provide technical support for their transfer to the manufacturing site.
Responsible for being the “Voice of the Factory” in the development of a new product or process and ensuring an adequate integration of a new product into the manufacturing operations.
You will be responsible for:
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
Provide technical input to the R & D and Product Management Development teams pertaining to “Voice of the Factory” from conceptualization to stabilization of the new products.
Coordinate and execute DFA analysis, process FMEAS, equipment/ tooling design, line design, process design and development, transfers/validations of lines in the plant and design Intent transfer.
Coordinate with all plant functions (Business Unit, Technical Services, Quality, Finance, Product Complaints, Planning) to ensure completion of “Voice of Factory” requirements.
Coordinate to complete all New Product Launch (Gate and Technical) deliverables.
Ensure product knowledge transfer to all Business Unit roles.
Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within the work area.
Compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities.
Follow J& J and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third-party vendor if applicable.
Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.
Collect, and report both product and process stabilization data as input to required scorecards by due dates.
Lead or coordinate stabilization improvement projects.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Ensure to follow applicable procedures for material handling, control of evaluation material and control of hold/restrict material.
May serve as lead New Product Integration engineer on a development/revision of a new product launch of moderate to significant complexity or have responsibility for multiple new product stabilization projects of moderate complexity.
May contribute critical expertise across multiple product lines.
May be responsible for direction and development of technical support staff including contracted resources.
Plans, conducts, and directs new product launch activities, coordinating multi-functional teams at multiple sites through stabilization period.
Responsibilities may include phase-in and phase-out activities of significant complexity and development and reporting of Stability Metrics to plant or franchise Staff.
Qualifications / Requirements:
University/Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.
Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred
GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred.
Analytical and Statistical methods knowledge
Knowledge of EES information systems including but not limited to, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) preferred.
Proficiency with personal computer software for word processing, spreadsheet analysis, and presentation graphics is essential. Project Management software knowledge is desirable.
Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred.
