We are searching for the best talent for SECURITY MANAGER to be in Ciudad Juárez.
Purpose:
Helps establish and implement cost-effective, results-based, and professionally managed Manufacturing Assembly programs and initiatives.
Develops projects, programs, or processes for the Manufacturing Assembly area.
Identifies opportunities to improve assembly line operations to continually advance the organization's Manufacturing Assembly strategy.
Documents quality checks and re-manufacturing processes to ensure specific and consistent product results on the assembly line.
Implements processes for specifying, identifying, and ordering new machinery/equipment for production and validating product readiness.
Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities.
Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
You will be responsible for:
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
- For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed.
- Develop crisis plans based on plausible crisis scenarios.
- Member of the country/sub-regional crisis management team.
- Supervise development of emergency plans.
- Coordinate crisis management actions and resources.
- Security SPOC for local and sub-regional business leadership.
- Represent J& J for security topics during government inspections and J& J audits.
- Support the travel security program (e.g., assess safe hotel accommodations, transportation, restaurants.
- Coordinate internal investigations (e.g., theft, workplace violence, employee misconduct).
- Support HR and Business leadership during employee separations.
Site security:
- Evaluate risk assessments.
- Evaluate and determine the site risk level.
- Liaise with local law enforcement.
- Track performance through monthly review of J& J Global Security KPI’s.
- SME support for security projects.
- Review and approve security design plans for new sites and buildings.
- Ensure compliance with the J& J Global security minimum standards and systems.
- Evaluate and present cost optimization opportunities and capital projects to business stakeholders.
- Event security (e.g., large business meetings, EC member visit).
- Executive and travel protection assignment coordination.
- To develop and present an annual security strategy in alignment with the Global Security Objectives.
- Develop and present a multi-year Strategic Masterplan for the sub-region.
- To conduct upon request a security assessment for the residences of Business leaders based in high-risk areas and provide security recommendations.
- To develop and implement a Background Check Program for employees and contractors in alignment with Global Security guidance and local laws.
- To develop and maintain a Security culture among the employees and contractors and conduct internal security surveys and utilizes results to improve processes and procedures for security services in country or country cluster.
- To coordinate regular internal Voice of the Customer (VOC) surveys to obtain feedback from the business stakeholders on the quality and satisfaction of the overall security services as well as evaluating their expectations.
Qualifications / Requirements:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- At least 10 years in a senior corporate security management position, preferably in a multi-national environment. Experience with the AMET region is required.
- Professional degree.
- Master’s degree in Criminology and Police sciences, Forensic Sciences, Security management or equivalent through experience.
- MBA (is a plus).

- Comfortable when speaking in public and able to develop presentational skills and accustomed to organizing and delivering security training programs.
- The sub-regional lead has a professional proficiency in English. This skill is a must.
