Manages a team of individual contributors and/or Supervisors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. Audits and approves initiatives and high-level strategies for Manufacturing Engineering schematics, including the recruitment and training of highly-trained engineers to successfully carry out customer-specific supply chain deliverables. Benchmarks a comprehensive strategy for delegating specific Manufacturing Engineering project plans to key team members to ensure key deliverables are completed on time. Contributes to the monitoring of key performance indicators, targets and goals to ensure critical milestones are achieved and summarized for customer executive reports. Determines thresholds for Manufacturing Engineering standard operating procedures and protocols to instill consistency and compliance with federal and local regulatory statutes. Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets. We are searching for the best talent for Manufacturing Engineering Manager to be in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
You will be responsible for:
* Reviews production schedules and coordinates manufacturing resources to ensure timely delivery of products and components, while be sure to comply with Quality System requirements. e — Interacts and collaborates with other departments to solve any restriction that may stop or slow down production, including material, personnel, equipment and process issues.
* Responsible for planning budget and control expenses applicable to production area to comply or exceed Business Unit financial targets.
* Identifies and coordinates cost reduction projects including labor productivity, land use, inventory optimization and defects reduction, using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
* Coordinates research and implementation of preventive and corrective actions that may result from production non-conformances, audit observations, CAPA and others.
* Ensures to comply with QSR, ISO and Environment, HS requirements, as well as all applicable company procedures and policies.
* — Provides timely and effective support for new products introduction and existent process transferences to Business Unit.
* Develops and maintains department metrics to monitor performance and coordinates actions to ensure improvements.
* Manages employee development and maintains updated and verified training records.
* Recognizes and rewards performance and teamwork.
* Identifies supports and solves labor issues in coordination with Human Resources Department. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

Requirements:
Education:
* BSin Engineering or Business Adminstration
* Master Degree is desirable
* Green Belt/Black Belt Certification, Lean Manufacturing Certification, Six Sigma is desirable
* Minimal 9 years of experience and training within Medical industry preferably
* HMoreof5 years in experience and/or training on similar positions preferably
* Medical industry experience preferably
Experience and Skills:
Required:
* Knowledge of the requirements of Quality Systems such as ISO and QSR
* — Ability to identify Improvement opportunities and Implement World Class Manufacturing
practices such as JJPS including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and ME2 concepts
*Excellent written and oral English and Spanish communication skills for different organizational
levels.
* Knowledge for Operations Management, including resources, capacity planning and Project
Management.
* Knowledge of Financial concepts applied to Manufacture, including budgets and cost control.
* Excellent leadership skills.
