Job Description

We are seeking a talented Translator with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The

Marketing Creative Translator combines translation leadership with hands-on video editing and audio

production to ensure Spanish content is culturally accurate, on-brand, and execution-ready across channels.

They will work alongside our marketing and internal creative service teams. This person owns Spanish-

language quality across motion and audio while partnering with internal teams and external vendors to scale

content efficiently. Must be able to work in a busy, deadline-driven environment with multiple internal clients

and be receptive to constructive feedback on their work. Outstanding organizational, project management,

file organization, and archiving skills are key to this position.

Video Editing and Audio Support
  • Edits Spanish-language video content for social
  • Adapt English video assets into Spanish versions (subtitles, text overlays, basic VO alignment)
  • Support formatting and exports for platform-specific requirements
  • Assist with Spanish voiceover production (script prep, timing, basic editing)
  • Support audio cleanup and formatting for radio
  • Ensure consistency in pronunciation and delivery standards


Translation Coordination:
  • Review and approve all Spanish materials that have been translated from TransPerfect from approved English versions, maintaining consistency with brand messaging and ensuring cultural relevance for the Puerto Rican market
  • Act as the main point of contact to resolve any questions that arise between designer and TransPerfect during the translation process
  • When needed, host weekly meeting with TransPerfect to align on project priorities, confirm deadlines and address any outstanding items

Collaboration: Work closely with senior managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements,

objectives, and brand guidelines. Translate briefs into visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the

intended message. Partner with Creative, Social, and marketing teams to execute Spanish-language content.

Support alignment between English source content and Spanish execution.

Digital Asset Management (DAM): Serve as a base-level librarian within the Digital Asset Management system (DAM), organizing and tagging assets daily. Ensure assets are properly categorized, labeled, and easily accessible to team members.

Workflow Management: Manage design projects within a workflow management tool, such as Adobe Workfront. Coordinate with team members, track progress, and meet project deadlines efficiently.

Software Proficiency: Experience in Premiere Pro Microsoft Office Suite with knowledge in Excel a plus. Experience with Digital Asset Management tools, specifically Aprimo DAM, is highly desirable. Familiarity with Adobe Workfront or similar workflow management tools is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on signage and collateral materials
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and creative abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
