The Role: Supply Chain Planning Manager

What will you do?

Lead the upstream supply chain function to ensure end-to-end material readiness, strong supplier performance, compliant importation processes, and smooth inbound flow supporting production continuity.

Operations / Material & Inventory Management - 60%
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and demand-aligned material planning, providing clear guidance to the team and removing obstacles to maintain uninterrupted production.
  • Oversee inventory performance, driving actions to prevent shortages, mitigate excess, and keep optimal stock levels aligned with business targets.
  • Lead MRP governance, including validation of system signals, optimization of planning parameters, and continuous improvement of MRP accuracy and master-data integrity.
  • Supervise Purchase Order execution, ensuring PO creation, confirmations, and follow-ups are timely and compliant with purchasing policies and requirements.
  • Drive cost-savings and value-engineering initiatives, ensuring the team contributes to cost control, process efficiency, and supplier optimization.
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely documentation for all inbound shipments to support smooth customs clearance and audit readiness.
  • Prevent shipment delays through proactive coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, brokers, and internal logistics teams, ensuring on-time delivery and material availability.
Leadership & People Management - 15%
  • Lead and develop Material Planners; set KPIs and monitor performance.
  • Coach team members on planning discipline, supplier management, and inbound processes.
  • Ensure workload balance, capability development, and accountability.
Supplier Management - 10%
  • Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost.
  • Conduct business reviews and ensure closure of action items.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and supplier alternatives.
  • Ensure compliance with agreements and supplier KPIs.
CI / Project Management - 10%
  • Lead continuous improvement projects for MRP accuracy, inbound cycle time, and process efficiency.
  • Improve master data quality and system reliability.
  • Implement process simplification or automation initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - 5%
  • Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Support NPI, engineering changes, and material-related escalations.


What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related.
  • 5-10 years of experience in planning or material management.
  • Minimum 3 years supervising teams or leading cross-functional groups.
  • Experience in People Management
  • Strong experience in MRP/ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM, and lead-time structure.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and crisis-handling capability.
  • Strong understanding of inventory planning, control systems, and material flows.
  • Work location: Rosario, Cavite
