Description:

The Assembly and Automation Manager is responsible for Industrialization of New Product for Philippines and Rest of the World regions from a DFM (Design for Manufacturing standpoint) standpoint, LADM (Line Architecture Design Methodology), Automation, CAMA (Capacity Analysis and Manpower Allocation), and key company initiatives supporting Schneider Electric Philippines requirements. In addition, they will be a leader of change and business process re-engineering.

Expert in PCBA assembly technology & process: specifying, implementing and qualifying the PCBA process & equipment in compliance with SPS principles. For new offer, ensures the PCBA assembly feasibility.

For manufacturing, strongly contributes to the continuous improvement actions for the PCBA and Final Assembly process & equipment. Bring his/her technical expertise across his/her organization (BU, Region, ...). Select, validate, introduce, and standardize new assembly technologies/processes.

• Responsible to oversee and improve industrialization PCBA and Final Assembly processes to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Develop and establish acceptable standards with defined limits of variation, focusing on continuous improvement, ergonomics, capacity, investments, cost analysis, and performance.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions thru automation and innovation.
• Work with design, quality and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of products.
• Manage and maintain detailed processes documentation, including work breakdown structure and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree or Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.

• 15 years of working experience in a fast pace high volume consumer electronics or electro mechanical manufacturing environment.

• 3 to 5 years of a manufacturing managerial capacity.

• Must have experience in handling and introducing new product to manufacturing and Engg/Manufacturing reviews with overseas engineering centers.

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead and mentor a team, and work collaboratively with other departments.
