Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated rehab team on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for someone who loves helping residents regain independence and function in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills.
• Provide hands-on therapy services in alignment with resident goals and physician directives.
• Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, quality care.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on techniques for continued success.

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license (required).
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
• Passion for patient-centered, outcome-driven care.
