  • Compensation: Starting at $60.00+ per hour (DOE)
  • Availability: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Evaluations: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with complex speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Treatment Innovation: Create and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance resident outcomes and overall quality of life.
  • Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, compliant clinical records and progress notes in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams to manage resident safety and nutritional needs (including dysphagia management).
  • Education: Provide vital education to residents, families, and facility staff on communication and swallowing safety strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Active California SLP license in good standing.
  • Certification: CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellowship Year [CFY] candidates may be considered based on supervision availability).
  • Skills: Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills; SNF experience is a major plus!
