Description:

Western Slope Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to join our team. As an RNA, you will play a critical role in helping residents maintain their highest level of function and independence. You will work closely with the nursing and rehabilitation teams to provide restorative care that enhances the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with restorative care programs, including ambulation, range of motion exercises, and other activities designed to improve or maintain physical function.
  • Provide personalized care and support based on each resident's individualized care plan.
  • Monitor and document resident progress, reporting any changes to the nursing team.
  • Encourage resident participation in restorative activities and help them achieve their wellness goals.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and rehabilitation therapists to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents, ensuring that restorative equipment is used properly and safely.
  • Assist with daily living activities as needed, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Uphold the highest standards of care, treating all residents with dignity and respect.


Qualifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
  • Previous experience in a restorative nursing role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and exercise routines.
