🎯 Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging recreational programs and social activities.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one engagement when needed.
• Help set up and clean up activity areas.
• Document resident attendance and feedback.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to ensure activities align with care plans.
• Support special events, outings, and holiday celebrations.

👤 Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage residents with diverse needs.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with mobility as needed.
