Job Summary

The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for technical and business analysis of software solutions delivered by software engineers. The Technical Business Analyst defines requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and the quantification of potential business benefits. The Technical Business Analyst also plays a role in ensuring software quality, process modeling, providing advice and guidance and monitoring emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

Print Template Development

  • Create, edit and maintain print templates used for letters to Clients, users and government agencies.

  • Review, adjust, and prepare templates for print, ensuring all designs meet technical specifications and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to resolve file issues, provide guidance on layout adjustments, and suggest improvements for optimal printing results.

  • Make minor adjustments to layouts as needed to meet printing requirements while maintaining the integrity of the original design.

Requirements Analysis

  • Works with the business analysts to capture requirements using various techniques such as data analysis and business workflow analysis.

  • Combines all business requirements into a clear, managed, prioritized backlog (Agile).

  • Creates use cases, user stories, functional specifications, diagrams and technical documentation as needed to articulate requirements.

Software Quality

  • Works with product teams in defining acceptance criteria and coordinating acceptance tests and issue resolution.

  • Performs user acceptance, A/B and other types of tests to determine completeness of requirements.

  • Verify the quality of templates, ensuring quality standards are met.

Skills

Technical

  • Experience building print templates desirable

  • Attention to detail is a must

  • Ability to spot printing issues including spacing or font inconsistencies
