Vitu Inc is hiring a Marketing Event Operations Coordinator in Agoura Hills, CA. This is a full-time position, requiring a high school, and paying $70,304.00–$72,000.00/year.

Job Summary
As the Marketing Events Specialist, you thrive when juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment working closely with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager, Marketing Team and other teams at Vitu. You’re a hands-on operator, fine-tuning as you go to improve end results. You’re known for your flexibility, jumping on new projects to seize opportunities when they present themselves. Comfortable with ambiguity and a wide array of personalities, you excel at keeping projects moving and stakeholders looped in and ensure that Vitu’s message is communicated effectively through all touch points — especially for events Vitu is participating in. You are an outgoing and effective communicator who excels in event planning, from corporate events to local state events like webinars. The Marketing team is fortunate to collaborate with all staff across the Vitu organization in multiple states. Your ability to dive in, get to know various teams, and actively create items alongside a collaborative Marketing team is crucial for successful event planning.
Key Responsibilities
Own trade show and event participation
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Marketing Director and other parties (internal and external).
Communicate with conference organizers and other external parties to gather logistical information, due dates, etc.
Ensure that required paperwork and other information required by the conference organizers is submitted appropriately.
Order exhibitor services and restock giveaways, collateral, and any other supplemental items as needed.
Manage the inventory, packing, and shipping processes for trade shows and other events.
Be available to attend certain events across the nation, if needed.
Collaborate with consulting leaders to ensure strong event attendance.
Vet potential event venues and drive the planning and execution from thought to finish.
Participate and create marketing materials
Facilitate and drive the creation/execution of state webinar training sessions (such as a Maryland “The More You Know” or migration-related webinars).
Work on several of our monthly newsletters along with the Marketing team; gathering information from stakeholders, organizing, rewriting and facilitating the final execution of the newsletters.
Work on a variety of handouts and training type materials generated by using a variety of applications.
Participate in Marketing team reviews to ensure technical accuracy, adherence to brand standards, and grammatical correctness.
Ensure that brand standards and messaging are present on all materials.
Assist with Marketing Budgeting
Annually, assist the Marketing Director in planning and recording next year’s budget.
As needed, assist with refactoring and recording additional expenses for Accounting.
Department in regards to unforeseen budget expenses.
During the course of the year, track actual costs vs. what was budgeted.
Be conscious of expenses during the year.
Be involved with Strategic Initiatives and Customer Engagement
Be aware and informed of much of Vitu’s operations, solutions and services.
Listen in and participate in meetings regarding Strategic Initiatives.
Be able to communicate and such Strategic Initiatives both internally and with external parties, especially when engaging with potential jurisdictions and other non-Vitu organizations we’re interested in working with.
Carry out task tracking-related items
Own tracking and archiving of tracking-related tasks.
Track due dates and milestones for multiple conferences, projects and commitments.
Use Marketing team tracking and management tools and other tools as needed.
Connect with team members and gently, but firmly, move processes forward.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Willing and able to travel to certain events across the nation.
Intermediate knowledge of G Suite and/or MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Cloud applications is a plus.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $70, 304 - 72, 000
The final pay for this position will be determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, location, education, experience, training and skills.
