Vitalant is seeking a Sales Support Specialist I dedicated to supporting our life-saving mission through donor recruitment and blood drive coordination. Your impact as a Sales Support Specialist I is vital. Y ou will support team collection goals by assisting with donor recruitment efforts and engaging blood drive coordinators to maximize participation, with a strong emphasis on acquiring first-time donors. While this role does not typically carry individual collection goals, you may assume responsibility for a territory when providing extended coverage. You will also help maintain existing blood drive accounts and support opportunities for growth.

What to Expect

Schedule: 40 hours weekly, 5 days a week, variable hours Monday-Friday between 7am-8pm, Saturday/Sunday between 7am-7pm

As a Sales Support Specialist I, you'll get to:
  • Coordinate and support virtual and onsite blood drives in alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Engage blood drive coordinators to increase donor participation and retention.
  • Assist with donor recruitment initiatives, including outreach to first-time donors.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity using established systems.
  • Support special projects and assist with training and onboarding of new and existing staff.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, external regulations, and software usage standards.
  • Collaborate with field teams and cross-functional partners to support operational success.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid in-state driver's license required
