Compensation Considerations:
Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for Laboratory functions that may include component production, labeling, maintenance of records, and data entry.

Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital.Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry.
What to Expect
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 4: 00 pm - 12: 30 am
* Note: Must be able to train for 2-3 weeks Mon - Fri 8: 00 am - 4: 30 pm
Compensation: 21 - 21.63 per Hour DOE
2nd Shift Differential: 8%
Weekend Shift Differential 8%

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to
Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
High School or GED required
