Job Title: Janitor

Pay Range: $17.48-$19.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary:
Vista Real Post Acute is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting, and works well independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and hallways
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces according to facility standards
• Remove trash and dispose of waste properly
• Refill paper products, soap, and other supplies as needed
• Follow infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Support a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Able to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Must be able to pass background screening per facility requirements
