Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to support communication and swallowing function
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and physicians, to provide holistic care
- Educate residents and families on strategies for continued progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license
- SNF or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dedication to improving patient outcomes and quality of life
