Job Responsibilities: - Patient Treatment: Provide care to patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports in compliance with PT Board requirements.
- Department Maintenance: Help keep the therapy department organized and the treatment areas clean.
- Patient Care Participation: Attend Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as necessary.
- Treatment Execution: Deliver patient care based on physician treatment plans, effectively communicating patient progress to the healthcare team.
- Equipment Reporting: Report any issues with departmental equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
- Family Education: Educate patients' families and nursing staff on care maintenance programs and provide caregiver training before patient discharge.
Required License or Certification: - Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License in good standing.
