Job Responsibilities: - Patient Treatment: Provide treatment to patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in compliance with PT Board requirements.
- Department Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep of the therapy department and ensure the treatment area remains clean and organized.
- Patient Care Participation: Take part in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as necessary.
- Treatment Execution: Deliver patient care based on physician treatment plans and effectively communicate patient progress and plans to the healthcare team.
- Equipment Reporting: Report any issues with department equipment to ensure it is well-maintained and functional.
- Family Education: Educate patients' families or nursing staff on maintaining care programs and provide caregiver training in preparation for patient discharge.
Required License or Certification: - Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License
