Starting Rate: $50 - $55 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Patient Treatment: Provide treatment to patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in compliance with PT Board requirements.
  • Department Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep of the therapy department and ensure the treatment area remains clean and organized.
  • Patient Care Participation: Take part in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as necessary.
  • Treatment Execution: Deliver patient care based on physician treatment plans and effectively communicate patient progress and plans to the healthcare team.
  • Equipment Reporting: Report any issues with department equipment to ensure it is well-maintained and functional.
  • Family Education: Educate patients' families or nursing staff on maintaining care programs and provide caregiver training in preparation for patient discharge.


Required License or Certification:
  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License
