Your Role & Impact

You will lead the Food Services department, balancing administrative oversight with hands-on quality control to provide residents with a superior dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Departmental Leadership: Plan, develop, and implement all dietary programs and activities to ensure operational excellence.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Team Management: Oversee recruitment, training, and scheduling for the dietary staff, fostering a culture of professional growth.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Partner with residents and families to assess nutritional needs and preferences, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Budgetary Oversight: Manage department costs effectively and oversee the annual budget.
  • Quality Control: Participate in menu planning and food preparation, inspecting trays for accuracy and presentation before delivery.


What We're Looking For
  • Certification: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) is highly preferred but not required
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven leadership in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a significant plus.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
