Job Responsibilities
- Patient Treatment: Treat patients according to the Occupational Therapist's directives and physician treatment plans.
- Documentation: Accurately record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board requirements.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with supervisors and healthcare team members regarding patient progress and care plans.
- Training Support: Assist the nursing department by training Restorative Aides and instructing patient families or staff on maintenance programs and caregiver training.
- Discharge Planning: Participate in discharge planning as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report any issues with department equipment to ensure proper functioning and hygiene in the treatment area.
Required License or Certification
- Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant License
