Job Summary
Victorian Post Acute is seeking a full-time Activity Director to lead and manage our Activities Program. You will create engaging programs that support residents' physical, mental, and social well-being.
What You'll Do
- Plan and manage daily and monthly activity programs
- Organize group activities, outings, and in-room options
- Encourage resident participation in hobbies and social events
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility guidelines
- Document resident participation and progress
- Assist with resident assessments, care plans, and discharge planning
- Coordinate transportation for outings and appointments
- Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- Support survey readiness and compliance efforts
Leadership Responsibilities
- Assist with supervising and supporting activity staff
- Help maintain a positive and organized team environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with seniors
