Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and leading individual, small group, and large group activities
- Support resident outings, special events, transportation coordination, and activity documentation
- Encourage participation in hobbies, crafts, games, reading, and other recreational programs
- Maintain a clean and organized Activity Department while assisting with resident assessments and care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with elderly and disabled residents
