Job Summary

As a Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering educational programs and initiatives that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our healthcare staff. You will collaborate with various departments to identify learning needs, develop curriculum, and facilitate training sessions. By assessing the educational needs of our healthcare professionals, you will ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement educational programs and initiatives for healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with different departments to identify learning needs and design appropriate training materials
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of teaching methods
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to healthcare professionals to improve performance
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in healthcare education and training
  • Collaborate with other Clinical Educators to share best practices and enhance training programs

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a specialty area of practice within an acute care setting.

Skills

  • Proven track record in designing and delivering effective educational programs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of healthcare practices and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field.
  • Preferably a Master’s Degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field.

Licensures/Certification

  • Current registered nurse licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS as appropriate for specialty; ANCC certification in the specialty area is preferred.
  • Must obtain LA City Fire Card certification within the first 30 days of employment.

Salary Range: $57.24 - $75.01 per hour
