We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position supports quality patient care by implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement and carry out patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Provide timely, accurate written documentation in accordance with facility and departmental requirements
- Report any changes in patient status or treatment needs to the supervising therapist promptly
- Coordinate treatment goals with other members of the care team
- Accurately prepare and submit patient charges to support appropriate billing
- Support departmental operations, initiatives, and quality improvement efforts
- Continue developing clinical and professional skills through ongoing education and training
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA or ACOTE-accredited program
- Current certification and good standing with all applicable regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional working relationships
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; adherence to company Code of Conduct and compliance policies
- Completion of all mandatory compliance and ethics training
