Your Impact & Responsibilities:

As a PRN PTA, you will provide essential therapy services that keep our residents on the path to recovery.

  • Direct Patient Care: Deliver high-quality therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist and the physician's care plan.
  • Clinical Documentation: Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress updates accurately in accordance with PT Board standards.
  • Interdisciplinary Communication: Collaborate with the rehab team and nursing staff regarding resident progress and discharge goals.
  • Training & Education: Instruct families and nursing staff on maintenance programs to ensure residents maintain their functional gains.
  • Restorative Support: Assist in training Restorative Aides to promote ongoing resident wellness.
  • Professionalism: Relate positively and effectively with residents, families, and your professional colleagues.


Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current, valid license from the California Physical Therapy Board (Required).
  • Aptitude: A dedicated, compassionate team player who can adapt quickly to the facility's needs.
