About the RoleAs a
Staff PTA, you'll work closely with our Physical Therapists and Rehabilitation leadership to provide hands-on care and support resident recovery. This role blends direct patient care, collaboration, and clinical documentation, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic skilled nursing setting.
What You'll Do- Provide therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, progress updates, and discharge planning
- Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention
- Assist with care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
- Support safe treatment environments and proper equipment use
- Recommend and assist with obtaining adaptive equipment to improve resident mobility and independence
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education as needed
What We're Looking For- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California (required)
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred
- New grads encouraged to apply!
- Familiarity with EHR systems (such as Net Health or PointClickCare) is a plus
- Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
