About the Role

As a Staff PTA, you'll work closely with our Physical Therapists and Rehabilitation leadership to provide hands-on care and support resident recovery. This role blends direct patient care, collaboration, and clinical documentation, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic skilled nursing setting.

What You'll Do
  • Provide therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist
  • Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, progress updates, and discharge planning
  • Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention
  • Assist with care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
  • Support safe treatment environments and proper equipment use
  • Recommend and assist with obtaining adaptive equipment to improve resident mobility and independence
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education as needed


What We're Looking For
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California (required)
  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (such as Net Health or PointClickCare) is a plus
  • Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
