Description:

T he Purchasing & Logistics Manager is respons ible for end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, fleet coordinati on, and mai ntaining a safe, efficient facility. This role also manages procurement and RMA processes, e nsurin g timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and equipment to support business needs. The ideal candidate has proven experience in wareho use and pu rchasing operations, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to drive improvements independently.

Essential Functions

  • Perform and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory handling, material staging, and outbound distribution to support project and service operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized facility while ensuring consistent application of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Track inventory movement and accuracy, performing physical counts, and reconciling discrepancies with system data.
  • Handle fleet coordination, including routine maintenance scheduling and vehicle utilization .
  • Collaborate with operations and back-office teams to evaluate vendors and procure materials, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Execute purchasing decisions in collaboration with other departments for stock and project-specific items, guiding inventory additions/deletions based on business needs.
  • Manage the return goods (RMA) process, ensuring timely resolution, minimized return costs, and proper vendor credit.
  • Address warehouse issues or incidents directly, documenting root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Occasionally deliver or transport materials and equipment to job sites when needed.
  • Conduct scheduled physical inventories to ensure accurate reconciliation to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Promote and maintain high safety standards across warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Provide light facilities support as needed to maintain a safe and functional workplace.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the management team .


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience
  • Knowledge of physical security systems, network devices
  • Experience in purchasing and procurement of warehouse-related materials is a plus
  • Ability to lift over 5 0 pounds and work comfortably on ladders and lifts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service
  • Proficient with basic hand and power tools, and knowledgeable in electrical circuitry and blueprint reading
  • Currentandvalid US driver's license

  • Must be professional and polished in appearance and be comfortable speaking to customers [Preferred] Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., Comsense or equivalent )

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment. It routinely involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing systems. Occasional business travel may be required.
