Job Summary:

As a global leader in server technologies, Supermicro has been growing extremely fast in many key markets such as Cloud Computing, HPC, AI/ML and Scale- out storage, etc. To meet the market demand, Supermicro is developing end to end data center solutions with compute, storage, networking all integrated into full rack or multi-rack level data center infrastructures.
Supermicro is seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in EIA-310D/OCP rack frame and PDU, server architecture and is responsible for the product planning, inventory monitoring component status auditing, and execution throughout the product life cycle, including: promotion, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering and purchasing, CM, vendors, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The potential candidate's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Include the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Partner with Team Leader to research the market trend and create go-to market plan for the next generation product(s)
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams during development and validation
• In-depth knowledge in server products its architecture, and product roadmap
• Coordinate production line and engineering team to resolve issues in daily production -- identify root cause and improve quality
• Work with product management team to enable new products launch successfully
• Perform high level customer (both external and internal) technical support as well as provide training to lower- level technical supporting personnel
• Conducting validation tests and twisting test parameters for product benchmark and enhance system performance
• Product life cycle management from kick-off to EOL and Inventory management
• Able to travel based on business need up to 15%

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in ME, or Engineering equivalent, with minimum of 5+ years of engineering experience in mechanical design or validation field is desirable.
• In-depth Knowledge of 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks, Cero, AutoCAD, etc.
• Strong experiences in EIA-310D and OCP rack frames, PDU, server and mechanical system architecture and Thermal is a must
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work in a self-directed environment
• Strong communication skill in both verbal and written, able to communicate effectively in a team environment

Salary Range

$89, 000 - $150, 000

The offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
