Sunnyvale Gardens Post Acute is seeking a specialized, detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Treatment Nurse to join our clinical team. In this dedicated role, you will focus primarily on wound care, skin assessments, and specialized treatments to promote healing and ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence for our residents.

Sunnyvale Gardens Post Acute is seeking a specialized, detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Treatment Nurse to join our clinical team. Position Highlights

- Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Administer wound care, dressings, and specialized skin treatments as ordered by attending physicians.
- Conduct regular skin assessments, identify alterations in skin integrity, and document staging and progress accurately.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing, wound care physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to update care plans.
- Monitor and manage treatment supplies, ensuring necessary wound care materials are stocked and organized.
- Educate residents, families, and floor staff on preventive skin care and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- License: Current, unrestricted California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Certification: Valid BLS/CPR certification; specialized Wound Care Certification (WCC) is highly preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of LVN experience, with a strong preference for dedicated wound care or treatment nurse experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute facility.
- Skills: Expert knowledge of wound care protocols, exceptional documentation skills, and a gentle, compassionate bedside manner.
