CNA Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will provide direct daily care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and facility policies, including:
  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Measuring and recording vital signs and reporting changes in condition
  • Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and post-meal care
  • Maintaining clean, safe, and organized resident rooms
  • Escorting residents during admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Responding promptly to call lights and resident needs
  • Documenting care accurately in charts, notes, and flow sheets
  • Following all privacy, infection control, and safety procedures
  • Reporting incidents, concerns, or equipment issues immediately
  • Participating in shift reports and team communication
  • Supporting restorative and rehabilitative programs as directed

Qualifications
  • Current California CNA certification
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, safety, and quality care
