Job Description Summary: The Training Manager will develop, manage, and implement a training program that provides functional training to SOLV Energy's Operations Groups. The Training Program will cover disparate topics including Estimating, Contracting, Procurement, Field Operations, and Project Management.

Position Responsibilities and Duties: - Design, develop, update and maintain comprehensive training programs covering topics relevant to EPC Operations, including but not limited to Estimating, Contracting, Field Operations, Project Management.
- Collaborate with subject matter expert(s), inclusive of those in different departments and business units, to create engaging and effective training materials.
- When necessary, collaborate with subject matter expert(s), to assist with the development of process mapping and/or the development of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) which will assist with applicable training materials.
- Develop and update a schedule for the development and implementation of assigned training program.
- Develop written procedures, training aids, visual presentations, and other tasks as necessary to support training objectives.
- Monitor training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
- Conduct training sessions for employees, contractors, and other relevant parties.
- Utilize various formats (e.g., workshops, webinars, e-learning modules) to deliver training content.
- Regularly assess program success and report on metrics to management.
- Writes clear and detailed documentation for complex business processes.
- Coaching and mentoring of end users responsible for the topics covered in the training programs.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.
- Completes other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Business, Training & Leadership) or minimum of 5+ years of directly comparable experience.
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity with design, engineering, and construction projects. Firsthand experience with Utility Scale solar a plus.
- Proven experience with implementing a training plan and being the lead trainer of complex principles and practices to groups of varying experiences and skills.
- Experience partnering with internal stakeholders to identify objectives and work cohesively together to complete identified objectives.
- Proficient in establishing and maintaining a schedule and milestones.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and work well with diverse teams.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting.
- Organizational and communication skills; must have strong people skills.
- Strong computer skills with MS Office suite, as well as Visio.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed to successfully fulfill responsibilities and duties.
