SOLV Energy is an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and solar services provider for utility solar, high voltage substation and energy storage markets across North America.

Job Description Summary:
The Talent Development Intern will support the Talent Development Manager in various initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, performance, and development. This role will involve assisting with the administration of key programs, including goal setting, performance management, engagement surveys, mentorship, and leadership development. The intern will also contribute to new initiatives and strategic projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Talent Development and make a meaningful impact on the organization.

Summer 2025 Internship. This position will be in office full time in San Diego, CA.

Job Description:

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Support the Talent Development Manager in executing various Talent Development programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with the administration and logistics of performance management, engagement surveys, and mentorship programs.
  • Provide support for leadership development programs and other strategic projects.
  • Support the creation of high-quality content and communications, including job aids and intranet updates.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with key partners and maintain strong industry relationships.

  • Effective coordination and execution of Talent Development programs.
  • High-quality and accurate work products.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with key partners.
  • Interest in change management principles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Passion for helping people succeed in a growing organization.

Preferred Skills or Experience:
  • Experience in data analytics and measurement.
  • Previous internship or work experience in HR or Talent Development.
