Job Description Summary:
The Senior ESG/Impact Analyst will serve as a strategic advisor and internal consultant, advancing the integration of sustainability, equity, and impact across SOLV Energy's renewable energy operations. In this elevated role, the analyst will lead analytical efforts, shape multi-year ESG strategies, and foster meaningful collaboration across internal teams and external partners. Reporting directly to the Director of Impact, the position contributes directly to corporate ESG planning, compliance, and storytelling while supporting SOLV Energy's legacy of clean energy, inclusive workforce development, and community transformation. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Impact Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy markets, sustainability, and data analysis, with a passion for advancing clean energy solutions.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Lead cross-functional development of sustainability strategies, action plans, and ESG initiatives for utility-scale solar, substation, and energy storage projects.
  • Design analytical frameworks to evaluate environmental, social, and governance metrics, synthesizing insights for executive and committee review.
  • Develop and maintain ESG dashboards, trend analyses, and benchmarking models that inform decision-making across departments.
  • Serve as a sustainability subject matter expert, advising field teams, operations leadership, and clients on ESG obligations and enhancement opportunities.
  • Represent SOLV Energy in external forums, including community meetings, client engagements, and industry roundtables.
  • Build partnerships with local stakeholders near active jobsites to support workforce, educational, and sustainability focuses.
  • Assist in assessing the environmental and economic impacts of renewable energy projects
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs related to ESG practices and policies
  • Support community engagement initiatives and events related to our active renewable energy projects, including but not limited to job fairs and local community events
  • Facilitate monthly ESG Committee meetings
  • Lead data collection and narrative development for the Annual Impact Report in collaboration with the Marketing and Impact teams.
  • Prepare monthly PowerPoint slide(s) with project specific updates to be featured on jobsite presentations
  • Work closely with other members of Impact Group in areas like community engagement, government engagement, and client engagement
  • Travel is required for this position up to 50%

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in ESG Framework role or related field. Experience in energy and renewables is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy Management, Business Administration, Business Communication or a related field
  • Experience in energy analysis, market research, ESG analysis, sustainability reporting, project coordination, or a related role, preferably in the renewable energy sector
  • Broad understanding of the renewable energy industry
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, corporate governance practices and sustainability practices
  • Strong knowledge with ESG frameworks and reporting standards such as GHG accounting, CDP, UN SDGs, GRI, is a plus, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Strength in time management to coordinate between multiple complex projects and requests
  • Mental agility and coachability - ability to quickly absorb new skills, adjust to fast-paced changes, and creatively troubleshoot unforeseen issues
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office tools and programs
  • Experience using task management and other tools including MS Teams, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and other framework platforms
  • Excellent, social, verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player and desire to work with multiple teams, departments, and outside organizations
