Shipping & Receiving Assistant - $20-$22/hour

Our team is growing and so is the number of customer orders we are handling, which means Solar Atmospheres in El Cajon is looking to add a full-time Shipping and Receiving Assistant to the team! Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7: 00am-3: 30pm, but occasional overtime may be required based on business needs. What youll do As a Shipping and Receiving Assistant at Solar Atmospheres, you will handle customer products before and after the heat-treating process, ensuring they are handled with care throughout. Day-to-day youll: Receive, pull, and pack orders for customersLoad and unload trucks as neededMake local deliveries/pickups Check materials into the computer system to keep accurate records and inventoryOperate standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, rolling ladders, skid loaders, and other material handling toolsCollaborate and assist co-workers in the shipping department, delivery drivers, and Furnace OperatorsPerform all other duties as assigned What you need to thrive in this role High school diplomaA valid drivers license Prior shipping/receiving experience, preferredReliability and dependability are a must to ensure our customers products ship on timeOrganizational skills, efficiency, the ability to work independently, and computer skillsAbility to bend, stoop, lift up to 50lbs, and work around material handling equipment About us The mission of Solar Atmospheres is to add significant value to our customers operations by thermally treating parts, principally in a vacuum environment, with an unwavering commitment to honesty in all relationships.
