The Opportunity
The Survey Processing Analyst plays an integral role in the timely and accurate processing, management, and quality review of CAHPS survey data and related materials. This position is responsible for mail processing, document preparation, survey scanning, data management, archive maintenance, quality control activities, and operational support functions that ensure the efficient processing of CAHPS survey programs. Job duties are performed in an office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, open, sort, and process incoming survey mail according to established procedures.
- Process returned mail, returned undeliverable surveys, and misdirected correspondence in accordance with established procedures.
- Enter updates and disposition codes into company systems.
- Scan/rescan surveys and accompanying documentation.
- Collaborate with team members regarding rescans, survey processing issues, and workflow requirements.
- Perform quality control reviews on incoming survey materials.
- Edit survey data using survey processing software, including Remark.
- Operate computers, scanners, and related equipment for data entry, survey processing, and document management.
- Assist with testing new survey templates and forms.
- Prepare and organize mail trays, workstations, and processing materials to support workflow efficiency.
- Maintain and organize archive rooms, including filing and storage of completed survey materials.
- Deliver work that meets established quality, accuracy, productivity, and performance standards.
What We're Looking For: Required
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in data entry, mail processing, document management, records management, survey operations, or a related workflow administration role.
- Ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and processing issues.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures consistently.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple software applications and databases.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull mail carts, survey trays, shred containers, and other wheeled containers used in survey processing operations, including shred containers weighing up to 300 pounds and mail carts weighing up to 400 pounds, using appropriate handling procedures and equipment.
What We're Looking For: Preferred
- Experience with scanning, document imaging, archive management, or data validation is a plus.
- Healthcare industry experience is helpful but not required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency or other multilingual communication skills

Pay
$21.00 per hour
Location
This is a full-time on-site position at the Headquarters Office in Santa Barbara, CA.
