Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN position with weekend availability. This role offers competitive pay along with various benefits and the opportunity to work in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Job Description:
- Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in compliance with PT Board guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of the department.
- Participate in patient care and rehabilitation conferences as needed.
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment areas.
- Implement treatment plans as prescribed by the physician.
- Assist the nursing department with the training of Restorative Aides.
- Communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, issues, and plans.
- Participate in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.
- Document any treatment changes according to policy and procedures.
- Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.
- Report any problems with department equipment to ensure it is maintained in good working order.
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with patients/residents, families, staff, and professional colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License.
