Your Clinical Impact

• Direct Resident Care: Implement therapeutic treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist, helping residents reclaim their strength and mobility.
• Documentation Excellence: Record accurate daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports in compliance with PT Board guidelines and facility policy.
• Collaborative Care: Communicate with supervisors and the interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress, clinical hurdles, and future care plans.
• Education & Support: Assist in training Restorative Aides and provide vital caregiver training to families to prepare them for a safe discharge.
• Departmental Stewardship: Help maintain the functionality and cleanliness of our treatment areas and report any equipment needs to ensure a safe environment for all.
• Positive Engagement: Build strong, positive relationships with residents, their families, and your professional colleagues.

Qualifications

• A valid, current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in the state of California.
