Position Details
- Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - PRN
- Schedule: PRN
- Pay Range: $48-$55 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and established goals.
- Assist patients in improving their independence with activities of daily living and functional mobility.
- Provide therapeutic activities and interventions designed to improve strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional skills.
- Monitor and communicate patient progress, response to treatment, and changes in condition to the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
- Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation in accordance with facility policies, professional standards, and payer requirements.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home programs, and strategies to promote independence and safety.
- Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and other interdisciplinary activities as needed.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with patients, families, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification and state license
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Commitment to providing high-quality rehabilitation services
