Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred
- Experience in post-acute or long-term care settings preferred
- Proficient in computer systems including Casamba and PointClickCare preferred
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of California (required)
- Must maintain license in good standing at all times
- CPR certification (as required)
- Must meet all continuing education requirements per state regulations
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures and policy manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, residents, and families
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
