Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR/Payroll professional to support the DSD, DON, and Administrator with onboarding, HR processes, and payroll. This role ensures compliance, supports employees, and keeps operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
HR & Onboarding
- Coordinate new hire orientation (policies, safety, infection control, resident rights)
- Support recruiting (screening candidates, scheduling interviews)
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR compliance
Employee Support & Compliance
- Administer benefits and respond to employee questions
- Track training, in-services, and required drills
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA/policies
Payroll Administration
- Process payroll accurately, including final and manual checks
- Manage deductions, garnishments, and employee updates
- Reconcile payroll and resolve discrepancies
Additional Duties
- Assist with audits, reports, and surveys
- Support safety programs and incident tracking
- Promote teamwork and positive communication
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required; some college preferred
- 2+ years administrative experience (HR or healthcare preferred)
- Payroll experience strongly preferred
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality
