Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct chemical analysis of aluminum and aluminum scrap to ensure quality.
  • Manage foundry metal inventory using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and other documentation tools.
  • Handle receiving and shipping of scrap and other materials.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and annual inventory checks with accurate documentation.
  • Support quality control documentation and data entry.
  • Assist in process improvement activities.
  • Operate truck scale and forklift for metal movement.

SKILLS:

  • Good experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point)
  • Experience in D365 is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of quality systems
  • Basic knowledge of measuring tools
  • Understanding of basics of manufacturing processes
  • Planning and prioritizing activities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Open to learn
  • Problem-solving skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • AA degree is preferred or High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control/warehouse or manufacturing plant experience
  • Computer Skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • 2 years of forklift driving experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Dual Environment: The role involves both hands-on tasks in a manufacturing setting (e.g., operating a forklift, truck scale) and administrative tasks in an office (e.g., data entry, inventory management). Candidates should be comfortable in both settings.
  • Involves: long periods of sitting; frequent stooping, and bending
  • This position routinely uses standard office equipment
  • Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. of material- Occasionally

The base hourly pay range for this position is $25.20 - $26.96. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
