Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Receives all incoming deliveries and transfers for foundry and distributes inventory to corresponding departments
  • Performs chemical analysis of incoming material if required
  • Generates receiving documentation and performs receiving transactions in MRP
  • Performs data entry and maintains material records
  • Keeps accurate records of foundry inventory and performs regular cycle counts
  • Participates in implementation of applicable quality control processes and procedures
  • Contributes to continuous improvement activities for the foundry
  • Operates truck scale and forklift as required

SKILLS:

  • Basic knowledge of quality systems
  • Basic knowledge of measurement tools and equipment
  • Understanding of basics of manufacturing processes and quality requirements
  • Medium level of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point)
  • Planning, time management and prioritization skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Open to learn

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in basic quality
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This position operates in a manufacturing and office environment.
  • This position operates outdoors for some time of the day.
  • This position involves long periods of sitting; frequent stooping and bending.
  • This position routinely uses standard office equipment

The base hourly pay range for this position is $25.20 - $26.96. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
