Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our premier nursing team in Walnut Creek. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Excellence: Provide skilled nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and specialized treatments, in accordance with established standards and regulations.
- Assessments & Documentation: Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of residents, identifying changes in condition and updating care plans accordingly in PointClickCare (PCC).
- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing assistants and licensed vocational nurses to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to implement effective treatment plans and prepare residents for a safe discharge.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a resource and advocate for residents and their families, providing education and addressing any clinical concerns with compassion.

Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of California.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality.
- Experience in skilled nursing, sub-acute, or acute care is preferred, but we welcome motivated RNs ready to grow in a post-acute setting.
